Pastor Micheal A. Davidson

Pastor Micheal A. Davidson is a passionate pastor, chaplain, musician, entrepreneur, and community leader with a heart for seeing people saved, encouraged, healed, and transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. A native of Gaffney, South Carolina, Micheal is blessed to share life and ministry with his wife, Kelli Davidson, and is the proud father of two wonderful children, Anna and Ayden Davidson. Raised in church from an early age, he developed a love for God, people, and ministry that continues to guide his life and calling today.

Micheal discovered early in life that music could be a powerful tool for healing, encouragement, and ministry. Through that passion, he has traveled throughout South Carolina, across the United States, and internationally, using music to inspire and uplift people from all walks of life. In 2013, he founded M.A.D. Music, LLC, an organization dedicated to providing quality musical entertainment, education, and community engagement. In 2018, he founded iLive Ministries, a Christ-centered ministry committed to helping people experience hope, purpose, and abundant life through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Through these organizations, Micheal and his team have served countless individuals and families throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. Their outreach efforts have included fundraising and support for numerous organizations, including Miracle Hill Ministries, Indian Hill Soup Kitchen, The Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, The Haven Women’s Shelter, Shriners Hospitals for Children, The Special Olympics, Greenville Health System, Team America Cancer, The Hope Center for Children, The Charles Lea Center, and many others. In 2019, he helped establish an after-school music program at Carver Middle School through a grant awarded by the Chapman Cultural Center.

In addition to his ministry and community work, Micheal serves as a Hospice House Chaplain and Pediatric Hospice Chaplain, providing spiritual care, encouragement, and compassionate support to patients and families facing some of life's most difficult moments. Through his chaplaincy ministry, he walks alongside individuals and families during times of illness, grief, loss, and transition, offering prayer, hope, comfort, and the love of Christ.

Micheal believes in lifelong learning and personal growth. Inspired by Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge,” he pursued higher education and leadership development opportunities that would better equip him for ministry and service. He is a graduate of the George Dean Johnson Jr. College of Business and Economics at the University of South Carolina Upstate. In 2018, he completed studies in Christian Discipleship and received a Certificate of Completion from Piney Grove School of Ministry under the leadership of Dr. C. Dennis Rector. That same year, he completed the Start:ME Spartanburg Program through Northside Development Group.

On November 5, 2019, Micheal was ordained to the office of Elder. He later pursued studies in Funeral Service Education through Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, South Carolina, and became a Certified Cremation Service Provider through the National Funeral Directors Association on March 2, 2021. In November 2021, he completed the Grassroots Leadership Development Institute through the Spartanburg County Foundation. On November 5, 2021, he was officially ordained and installed as Pastor of iLive Ministries. On June 17, 2022, he was ordained as a Chaplain through the Department of Chaplain Services, expanding his ministry reach to serve individuals and families both nationally and internationally.

Throughout his career, Micheal has served as a music director, mentor, entrepreneur, pastor, chaplain, and community advocate. Whether ministering from the pulpit, providing comfort at a hospice bedside, leading worship through music, or serving families during life's most significant moments, his mission remains the same: to share the love of Jesus Christ and help others discover hope, healing, and purpose.

Micheal believes that effective ministry requires accountability, spiritual covering, and a continual commitment to growth. Guided by God's vision for his life and ministry, he remains dedicated to serving with humility, compassion, integrity, and excellence. As Pastor of iLive Ministries, Micheal continues to impact lives through preaching, teaching, music ministry, community outreach, and chaplaincy services, always striving to point people toward the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
