About Pastor Micheal

Micheal A. Davidson has a heart and a passion to see people saved, delivered, and free. A native of Gaffney, South Carolina, he is the proud father of two beautiful children, Anna and Ayden Davidson. He was reared in church and made himself available to be used by God.

As he discovered early in his life, Micheal enjoys helping adults and children see that music can be both fun and therapeutic. He travels throughout the upstate, across the United States, and beyond the country’s borders ministering to people through music. In 2013, he founded M.A.D Music, LLC and iLive Ministries (2018) and has since used these ministries to drive his passion of giving back to the community. Over the years, Michael and his team have assisted citizens of the upstate; raised funds to donate to various organizations throughout the upstate of South Carolina (including Indian Hill Soup Kitchen; Miracle Hill Ministries; Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, SC; The Haven Women’s Shelter; The Shriners Hospitals for Children; Growing Minds Learning Center; The Special Olympics; The Greenville Health Care System; Team America Cancer; The Hope Center for children; and The Charles Lea Center); and an after-school music program at the Carver Middle School in 2019 with a grant from the Chapman Cultural Center. Micheal is a music director, entrepreneur, mentor, and Funeral Director Apprentice for the Community Mortuary, Inc. Micheal is a Notary Public for the state of South Carolina.

Micheal desired to become more well-rounded; not only did he want to play music, but he also wanted to understand business development and its dynamics. As one who places the principles of the Word of God in everything, Hosea 4:6, “My people perish because of a lack of knowledge,” was his motivation in his educational endeavors. He is a graduate of the George Dean Johnson Jr. College of Business and Economics at USC-Upstate. In October 2018 with the Start: Me program NorthSide Development Spartanburg, Micheal completed studies in Christian Discipleship and received a Certificate of Completion from Piney Grove School of Ministry with Dr. C Dennis Rector 2018. On November 5, 2019, Micheal was ordained to the office of an Elder under the Power of Pentecost. Micheal is currently enrolled in school at Piedmont Technical College for funeral service (2020-2021). Micheal is a certified Cremation Service Provider with The National Funeral Directors Association (March 2, 2021) and completed the Grassroots Leadership Association with the Spartanburg County Foundation (November 2021). On November 5, 2021 Micheal was ordained official pastor of iLive Ministries under Pastor Caroline A. Jones. On June 17th, 2022 Micheal was ordained Chaplain by the Department of Chaplain Services where he will minister internationally.

Micheal believes that no ministry is complete without a covering. With a vision given by God, a spiritual covering, and as a faithful leader, Micheal is stepping forth boldly into the destiny God has for him. In his sincere desire to be stretched, not only music ministry and business, but in the Word of God, he is willing to move forward under the covering of Pastor Caroline Allen Jones of Greater Hope Ministries, Gaffney, SC & Apostle Ryan McJimpsey of City Gate Ministries International
